The Third District Fire Chiefs' Academy provides a wide variety of training programs to the departments in the Third District. The types of training we offer include Basic Recruit training, Fire Apparatus Engineer, Hazardous Materials Training, Officers' Training, and Technical Rescue. We also offer various additional courses that cover Fire Suppression, EMS, and Public Education. The Third District Academy continues to provide up-to-date training to its career, part-time, and volunteer members in order to maintain the level of service that the residents in our communities have come to expect. The Third District fire fighters have a reputation for being leaders, and the Academy is one of the reasons for the recognition we receive. The Academy strives to lead its fire fighters forward as we all move into the twenty-first century.
