What's New
- The location and dates for 2010 OSFM Tests has changed. Tests will no longer be conducted at the Tinley Park Library. Tests will be conducted at the Victor J Andrew High School. Some dates for 2010 have changed as a result of the change in venue.
- 2011 OSFM Test Dates are now available.
- A Rope Operations class will be conducted the during the first two weekends of March at Tinley Park Station 4.
- A Hazardous Materials Operations class will be conducted during the second and third weekend of April at South Holland Station 1.
- A Firefighter III Academy will be conducted in May & June. More details to follow.

Our Mission
The MABAS24 Training Academy provides a wide variety of training programs to the departments in MABAS Division 24. The types of training we offer include Basic Recruit training, Fire Apparatus Engineer, Hazardous Materials Training, Officers' Training, and Technical Rescue. We also offer various additional courses that cover Fire Suppression, EMS, and Public Education. The MABAS24 Training Academy continues to provide up-to-date training to its career, part-time, and volunteer members in order to maintain the level of service that the residents in our communities have come to expect. The fire fighters in MABAS Division 24 have a reputation for being leaders, and the Academy is one of the reasons for the recognition we receive. The Academy strives to lead its fire fighters forward as we all move into the twenty-first century.
